Mobile machines and vehicles such as forklifts, dump trucks, and transport containers can also be integrated into toii® via the IIoT network. They can therefore be utilized more efficiently.
The data collected here can be used to optimize transport routes or localize material precisely when moving it in and out of the warehouse. Order data can be transferred directly to the driver in their cockpit and used to optimize scheduling in real time.
Collects data from machines, ranging from simple devices without programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or older machines with user-defined interfaces to modern, IoT-capable machines and robots.
The platform’s mobile module. Data from permanently installed terminals or mobile devices are transferred via WLAN to the platform, where they can be further processed. This allows manually collected production data, such as those entered by production workers, to be integrated into the digital production chain.
Option for future big data analyses or smart data applications with unlimited possibilities for expansion. Predictive maintenance algorithms can forecast machine maintenance requirements, optimize production efficiency with the help of edge analytics, develop individualized processes, or generate new business models with collected data.
